Over the years, our growing friendship with the skate community and creative scene in South Africa has been remarkable. From executing community projects together, to skateboarding activations through our annual Go SKate Day, it has all been thrilling.
waf. recently collaborated with S.W.A.N.K Jozi for our first pop up in South Africa. They are an Urban streetwear retailer that started off as passionate teens selling t-shirts from their backpacks at school and have since evolved into a hub for street culture in Johannesburg.
As waf. aims to grow its community in Nigeria, we also aim at connecting and growing with other skate communities across Africa.
The pop up took place at the S.W.A.N.K Jozi store in Braamfontein, South Africa on Friday 19th, August. The love and support from the skate community and creative scene in Johannesburg was incredible.
